The Next Big Thing

We love us some
Luke Bryan. Besides the fact that he is smokin' hot, the man can sing! His album, "I'll Stay Me" is amazing- we love just about every song on the cd! If you haven't seen him live, you need to make it a point to because he's great!!! That man can work the stage like nobody's business...he can obviously sing...but he's also got some SWEET dance moves!

It looks like we aren't the only ones who think so:

Just this week, Hazel Smith from CMT's HotDish commented on Luke.

"It appears to me that Kenny Chesney may be allowing history to repeat itself with Luke Bryan. Every review of the Poets & Pirates tour that I read, the media raves about opening act Luke Bryan's singing, songs and good looks. Not too many years back when Kenny was the opening act for King George Strait, the media sat up and took notice of the kid from Luttrell, Tenn., and Kenny Chesney became country superstar Kenny Chesney. Is history doing a repeat here?? Could very well be."

(From a press release by Capitol Nashille...)

In fact, just this past weekend, the Chicago Tribune picks out the Georgia native's performance as a standout saying "Bryan, the show's opener, was every bit as engaging as Chesney was. So should the tables turn in another decade, Bryan could very well be tackling Soldier Field himself."

The Chicago Sun-Times claimed "If [Bryan] keeps churning out crowd favorites like 'Country Man' and 'All My Friends Say,' we may someday see him headline his own stadium tour and leading the charge for the new generation of metro-country stars."

"Luke Bryan is a rock star," claims Stoney Richards, Assistant Program Director, WDSY/Pittsburgh after his performance at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. "This guy gets an unbelieveable reaction from our audience. And why not? Luke has the talent, the looks and the songs. Keep it goin' brotha'"

And Luke is so genuinely appreciate of the opportunity to open these big shows for Kenny...

"Kenny Chesney has been so amazing to me inviting me to be part of his stadium tour," beams Luke Bryan. "I knew it was going to be an unbelievable feeling getting out there in front of the largest crowds and venues I've ever played, but I've gotta tell ya – it is a feeling that can't be described. We have been welcomed and treated so great by not only Kenny Chesney and his team but the fans in Columbia, San Francisco, Pittsburgh and Chicago. They were just really welcoming to me and the band – they put us right at ease from the moment we took the stage."

What do you think? Do you think Luke Bryan could be Country Music's Next BIG THING?
