Julianne Hough - A Fellow Blogger!

Julianne Hough is taking to the internet to share her experience this season on Dancing with the Stars. After each show airs, Julianne will post on a blog letting fans know how the show went and her thoughts on the other contestants.

In her first post on the blog, Julianne admitted being a little bit nervous since her boyfriend, country heartthrob
Chuck Wicks, was in the audience and would be watching her dance for the first time! No worries though, Julianne later said that Chuck thought she did great!!

Feel free to leave Julianne comments on her blog...she's looking for fan interaction, so she may even respond to one of your comments!

Chart Update

It's time for your weekly Billboard country singles chart update!

- Darius Rucker glides into the No. 1 spot after 23 weeks on the chart! What an accomplishment with his very first country single...we think Darius is here to stay and that he's going to do well in the country format!

- Knocking hard at the door to that No. 1 spot is Kenny Chesney who takes over the No. 2 spot this week with his current hit, "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven." The song has only been on the charts for 8 weeks and is the lead single from Kenny's forthcoming album, "Lucky Old Sun."

- Toby Keith breaks into the top 5 at No. 5 this week with his hit, "She Never Cried In Front Of Me." This song is still climbing after 13 weeks on the charts.

- Three rising country stars hold steady this week at the same spot they were last week. Luke Bryan stays at No. 12 with "Country Man," Chuck Wicks stays at No. 14 with "All I Ever Wanted," and Jason Aldean holds place at No. 15 with "Relentless."

- Taylor Swift makes a big jump this week from No. 25 to No. 18 with "Love Story," the first single off her upcoming album, "Fearless." This is only the song's second week on the charts and it's moving fast!

- Our favorite new band, the Zac Brown Band, are still climbing with their single, "Chicken Fried." They land at No. 22 this week.

- Sugarland rounds out the top 25 landing at No. 25 with their new single "Already Gone." Their last release, "All I Want To Do" is still on the charts at No. 24 after climbing all the way to No. 1 for the duo!

Chuck Wicks Supports Julianne Hough

New country couple Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough are busy people right now. Chuck is busy touring to promote his music and Julianne is out in L.A. for her stint on Dancing With The Stars...but even though they can't be together constantly, it seems like they're never far from each others minds!

Before a recent tour stop in FL, Chuck spoke to the Palm Beach Post about Julianne, saying "She's wonderful. She's so beautiful in so many ways and she's a great talent. I'm so glad I met her. She puts a big old smile on my face. I think a lot of people are going to find out what a sweetheart she is the more they get to know her and I think people are going to fall in love with her even more."

Chuck also says that he'll be out in L.A. supporting Julianne a lot while the show is going on. So will we ever get to see Chuck out on the dance floor of
Dancing With The Stars? Probably not. Of his dancing abilities, Chuck says "No, I can't really dance too well. If she was my teacher, I would learn real quick, I'm sure! She's taught me a few things and I pick up on them, but I laugh the whole time I'm doing it just because it's so funny to me. If I were to dance with anybody it would be her."

So cute...it sounds like Julianne has Chuck's full support! Did anyone catch the season premiere of
DWTS last night? We weren't able to watch it. How did Julianne do? Was Chuck in the audience?

Fan Story: Missy & Chuck Wicks

We just ran across Missy's pictures from her Chuck Wicks experience on Saturday night and decided we HAD to share her awesome story with you!

Missy hit up the Paisley Party Tour stop in West Palm Beach, FL. This was her first time seeing Chuck and she said it would NOT be her last (of course after this awesome story)! She had spent hours making a shirt for him that included a few titles of his songs. Naturally, she staked out her spot under Chucks mic as soon as she got there.

A few songs of Chucks set went by and Missy was having a blast. To her surprise, during "She's Gonna Hurt Somebody," Chuck walked over to her and PULLED her up on stage. The funny thing is, the front of her shirt said, "She's Gonna Hurt Somebody," so it was perfect timing. Chuck and Missy danced and sang together on stage. Missy said she was in "HEAVEN" while she was up there- What a lucky girl! Chuck Wicks is super cute- any girl would love to be up there with him!
Congrats Missy- that's a night you will never forget!

Chart Update

An interesting week as far as the No. 1 spot on the charts this week! Also a lot of slow and steady climbers, and finally some female action in the top 10!

- After reaching the top of the charts with "Do You Believe Me Now,"
Jimmy Wayne slipped back to the No. 2 spot last week. Well apparently he wasn't content with that spot, since he once again regains the No. 1 with his current hit!

- It seems like plenty of folks are hanging onto summer as long as they can with
Kid Rock's hit "All Summer Long." That one moves into the top 5 this week landing at No. 5 from No. 6 last week.

-
Carrie Underwood finally brings the female edge to the top 10 with "Just A Dream." That single moves up to No. 8 from No. 11 last week.

-
Chuck Wicks makes a good jump from No. 18 to No. 14 with his current single "All I Ever Wanted."

-
Lady Antebellum is still climbing with good momentum as they move up from No. 24 to No. 19 with their feel good song "Lookin' For A Good Time."

-
Taylor Swift bursts onto the chart with "Love Story" which is the first release from her upcoming album, "Fearless." "Love Story" lands at No. 25 in it's very first week on the charts!

Chuck Wicks Thanks Brad Paisley...For The Food!

What's Chuck Wicks' favorite part of being on Brad Paisley's "The Paisley Party Tour"...THE FOOD! Chuck says "The best thing about touring and being out on tour with Brad Paisley is the catering out there is just amazing. So I'm not lacking in the food department at all, which helps me get by, as well."

And while Chuck was kidding about the catering being the BEST part of the tour, it's an aspect that Brad is pretty excited about himself! Brad recalls "We now have our own catering, which is a big deal because, boy, was it...it was
not edible for a long time because we were just...it was pot luck per city. It was like, you know, you'd go into a building, and the civic arena would have its own caterer, and all of them think...they all thought they were original with chicken and ravioli. It's like, every day, geez, how much more can we eat of that? And bad chicken and ravioli...it wasn't even good!"

Well the next time we're at a Brad Paisley show, we know where we're going for dinner!

Couples Rumors Are Spreading

People are talking!!! Taylor Swift is rumored to be dating Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers! Taylor has attended a few of their concerts and has even filmed a performance with them for their upcoming movie. Her management says that their relationship is nothing more than friendship. BUT the Tennessean reported that Joe Jonas recently showed up in Taylor's hometown and that they were sitting "close" and appeared to be on a date.
Only time will tell, but if they are really dating, how does she have time to date? That girl is BUSY!

We first told you about the Chuck Wicks/Julianne Hough couple rumor last week. Since then, things have gotten a little more juicy! CMT Insider reported this weekend that Julianne's team had NO COMMENT on their relationship. It was also reported that they were seen holding hands in North Carolina AND that she told her friends that Chuck was her boyfriend.
If it's true, we wish them luck, but we still want to know what happened to the "Stealing Cinderella" girl!!

Country's Newest Couple?

The Rumor Mill is churning this week...People are speculating that two of country music newest acts, Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough, are dating! Chuck and Julianne are both on Brad Paisley's "Paisley Party" tour, so could their love be stemming from that?

Rumor has it that Julianne showed up at a GAC taping for Chuck on Monday night. Someone also said that Julianne showed up at Chuck's Opry performance on July 1st! Could she have been there just showing support for a friend or is it more than that?

A few things:

1. Didn't Chuck write "Stealing Cinderella" about his girlfriend? Where is she now? Apparently they have been dating for a few years... keep in mind this is just a RUMOR....

2. IF they are dating, that is one HOT couple!!!

3. Chuck, have you seen THIS about Julianne? Not that it's a bad thing... we're just sayin'!

Fans Strive to Help Promote Their Favorite Artists

We've noticed that street teams are popping up EVERYWHERE lately! Many up and coming artists such as Chuck Wicks, Luke Bryan, and Eric Church have well established street teams, but some fans are still trying to figure out exactly what it is or how much time it actually takes.

You may ask, what exactly is a street team? I "googled it" for us. According to Wikipedia,
a street team is a term used in marketing to describe a group of people who 'hit the streets' promoting an event or a product. So there ya go. Basically it's a very devoted group of fans who help spread the word about their favorite artists.

Anyway, while in Nashville for the CMA Fest, we noticed the most powerful street team
ever- Chris Young fans! They were everywhere- handing out fliers and writing on the sidewalks with chalk to help get his name out there. We were so surprised to see that these fans were that dedicated! It's really awesome! (Chris Young, if you are reading, you have some great fans!!!) Even the more established artists such as Phil Vassar and Dierks Bentley have fans who go the extra mile to help promote them!

We think it's just awesome that the fans are willing to spend their extra time helping these artists! Just another reason why country music fans are THE BEST!!!
If you are interested in joining a street team, check MySpace or Facebook. Most of them have very active profiles and would LOVE for more fans to join!

New Music Videos!!

Hey y’all! Here are some recently released videos that we think you should check out. Let us know what you think!

Reba McEntire has one for her new single, “Every Other Weekend” (featuring Kenny Chesney). We love Reba! She’s a class act. The song hits home for both of us and the video portrays it perfectly! We love that she invited the co-stars (Joanna Garcia and Steve Howey) from her hit show “Reba” to be in the video too. But where’s Kenny?! LOL

Newcomer Chuck Wicks also has a new video. His new single “All I Ever Wanted” is fun and upbeat and so is the video. We could watch it all day just to look at Chuck!

Rodney Atkins, who recently blew up the charts with “Cleaning This Gun,” shows his softer side in his new single and video “Invisibly Shaken.” It’s a little different for us to see Rodney showing this soft side, but we think we like it. It may take a bit to get used to, but the song is raw and we like that. What do you think?
