Lovin' Life ~ Sammy Hagar

Sammy Hagar isn't your typical country act...in fact, he's not a country act at all...but he's on tour with Kenny Chesney this Summer as part of the Poets & Pirates tour. Kenny and Sammy are good buddies and Kenny wasn't concerned about Sammy not being "country"...he was just concerned about delivering the fans a day of GREAT music, and Sammy certainly fits the bill!! I get to see the show this weekend and I can't wait to see Sammy...I've never seem him live before and even though I love his music, what really draws me to him is his love of life!! Kenny says of Sammy, "he's 60 years old and he's never met a stranger in his life!"...I mean really, what's not to love about that?! And so, from Sammy, you get todays thought of the day...

Keith Urban Excited To Hit The Stage

Unless you’ve been living in the dark, by now you’ve heard that on July 7th, Keith Urban and his wife, Nicole Kidman, welcomed their first child, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. As Keith is set to make his first performance TODAY since becoming a Father, he takes to his website to write a note to his fans…

"It’s been 10 days since the birth of our beautiful new daughter, Sunday Rose, and like any of you who are parents yourselves, we’re experiencing the pure bliss of welcoming her into our lives. We’re all doing superbly well and we continue to be absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and well wishes we are receiving. Thank you all for your beautiful notes and prayers. I can’t wait for Saturday night’s stadium show in Philadelphia, my first gig as a Father! See you there. Love, Keith"

Keith is on the bill for Saturday’s Philadelphia edition of the Poets & Pirates tour. In addition to “The Next Big Star” winner (a local talent competition,) the lineup will also feature Gary Allan, Leann Rimes, Sammy Hagar, and headliner, Kenny Chesney.

While Keith and Nicole have been spotted out and about in Nashville since Sunday’s birth, the infant has yet to make her public debut…and when she does, the Urban’s have decided not to sell their family photos for millions like so many stars do these days. Kudos to them and once again Congrats on their new addition!
