Carrie Underwood's Struggles With Fame

Carrie Underwood is the cover girl for the upcoming September issue of Allure magazine. In the issue Carrie discusses how fame can sometimes be a double-edged sword. Of course, career-wise, Carrie has had an amazing amount of success in a relatively short amount of time...but on the personal front, things can be more of a struggle. People.com reports details of the upcoming magazine feature in which Carrie mentions her lack of immediate trust in others...Carrie says "You never really know why somebody wants to be around you, or if they genuinely do like you. I wish everyone had a label on their forehead so you could automatically tell their intentions. Sometimes you just wish that no one wanted anything from you." Awww, is it just us, or is that last statement kind of sad?!?!

Carrie also discusses a couple of her former boyfriends in the article, and in our opinion, she may have just added a little fuel to the back and forth banter between her and Jessica Simpson! Y'all know that Carrie used to date (she says it wasn't serious) Jessica's current boyfriend, Tony Romo...and that Jessica was spotted wearing a "real girls eat meat" T-shirt, which was taken as a dig towards Carrie since Carrie is a vegetarian...well, in the Allure article, Carrie says that Tony still calls her from time to time! We're sure it's nothing serious, but you KNOW Jessica won't like it that he calls Carrie! Carrie says "The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer"...OUCH Tony, slammed...haha!!
