A Country Christmas

• Julianne Hough is teaming up with Target to release a Christmas album on October 12th. The disc is part of a series through NBC called, Sounds of the Season.

• Faith Hill's "Joy to the World" debuts next Tuesday, but you can listen to the entire album online HERE!!

• George Strait's "Classic Christmas" will hit stores October 7th.

• Our friend over at Nashville Gab reported that Randy Travis is releasing Christmas on the Pecos, a holiday DVD, November 4th.

• Sony BMG is releasing "Elvis Presley: Christmas Duets" on October 14th.

• Brooks & Dunn will be hosting a radio event called "An American Country Christmas." (Dates and times aren't available yet, but we'll keep you posted!)

• Rodney Atikins, Montgomery Gentry, Heidi Newfield, Charlie Daniels, and Phil Vassar are all taking part in Christmas for Kids at the Ryman in Nashville. Click HERE for more information. Tickets are already on sale!

Rodney Celebrates Christmas in the Summer

Rodney Atkins recently posted a video blog while preparing for the taping of a Christmas special. We can't even begin to think about Christmas yet, but Rodney kind of makes us re-think that!

Reba McEntire has one for her new single, “Every Other Weekend” (featuring Kenny Chesney). We love Reba! She’s a class act. The song hits home for both of us and the video portrays it perfectly! We love that she invited the co-stars (Joanna Garcia and Steve Howey) from her hit show “Reba” to be in the video too. But where’s Kenny?! LOL

Newcomer Chuck Wicks also has a new video. His new single “All I Ever Wanted” is fun and upbeat and so is the video. We could watch it all day just to look at Chuck!

Rodney Atkins, who recently blew up the charts with “Cleaning This Gun,” shows his softer side in his new single and video “Invisibly Shaken.” It’s a little different for us to see Rodney showing this soft side, but we think we like it. It may take a bit to get used to, but the song is raw and we like that. What do you think?
