Lollapalooza is a giant rock fesitval held every year in Chicago, IL. This year our man Dierks Bentley was included in the lineup. Many rock fans were said to have doubts as to why Dierks was chosen to perform. There was a MySpace page made to make fun of the fact that Dierks was on the lineup AND a Youtube video meant to do the same. Some people even wore shirts that said, "Who the Hell is Dierks Bentley?" We can't believe that someone would wear such a thing! That's downright RUDE!Reviews from the show have already surfaced and it actually sounds like Dierks turned some of those haters into believers. One review said Dierks spoke to "cheering masses" but then goes to call him a cliché country music act. We'd bet money that some of those people will probably go out and buy a Dierks cd after seeing him live!
At the end of the day we all know Dierks can rock a crowd, but it's still a bit disturbing to see how people can treat a performer.
