Blake & Taylor Comfortable At No. 1

For the second consecutive week, Blake Shelton sits at No. 1 on the Billboard Country chart with his latest release, "Home." Blake's next release, "She Wouldn't Be Gone" will debut at Country radio as well as on CMT tomorrow, July 21. Blake is excited about the new project, telling fans "As a country music artist I'm always looking for "that song." Something unique, something special, something that matters. This song has all of the above." Sounds like a great way to follow up a No. 1 smash! Following Blake and rounding out the top 5 are Alan Jackson with "Good Time," Brooks & Dunn with "Put A Girl In It," Montgomery Gentry with "Back When I Knew It All" and Sugarland with "All I Want To Do."

For what seems like the 12132468542th week, Taylor Swift is once again sitting at No. 1 in the country album chart. We like Taylor...she's super cute, super nice, and so appreciative of her success...so we're happy for her, but we're really ready for the new Taylor music that's coming this Fall! Rounding out the top 5 in the albums chart are Toby Keith's "35 Biggest Hits," Carrie Underwood's "Carnival Ride," Alan Jackson's "Good Time," and Sugarland's "Enjoy The Ride."

Sorry Taylor, but we have to think that with Sugarland's new CD coming this week, they'll take over that top spot in no time!!!
